Mr. Theodore Darnell Black, Age 72, formerly of Wayne County, North Carolina and resided in Washington, DC, passed on Monday, March 3, 2025 at his residence in Washington, DC.

He was lovingly known by his family members and friends as “Darnell”.

A Public Visitation - Meet-and-Greet will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551.    

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551.  Minister Effie Black-Rowe will officiate.

Military Honors will be held following the Celebration of Life Memorial Service, in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551.
