In profound sorrow, the Britt Funeral Home and Cremation Service join with the Faison and Brown families to announce Mr. Eugene Alford Brown, age 69, formerly of Brooklyn, New York has completed his earthly journey.
He was lovingly known by his family members and friends as “Eugene”.
Mr. Brown transitioned from labor to reward, August 24, 2022, at his residence in La Grange, North Carolina.
Eugene was born in Kings County, New York, May 15, 1953, to the late Mr. Emmett Wallace Brown and Mrs. Lillie Mae Faison Brown.
He received some of his education in the Kings County Public School System in Brooklyn, New York.
He worked as a Master Pool Stick Maker for the Wood Craft Industry in New York.
During Mr. Eugene social life, he loved bike riding, roller skating, sightseeing, family outings, listening to blues and spiritual music. He loved his family members and friends.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Emmett Wallace Brown and Mrs. Lillie Mae Faison Brown; his brothers, Mr. Richard D. Brown, Mr. Mitchell M. Brown and Mr. Emmett W. Brown, Jr.
The family has elected to have a Private Ceremony for Mr. Eugene Alford Brown.
Mr. Brown leaves to cherish his precious memories to his special sister, with whom he lived with, Ms. Jane Elizabeth Brown of La Grange, North Carolina; his special niece, Ms. Sabrina Brown of La Grange, North Carolina; his daughter, Ms. Aisha Brown of Brooklyn, New York; his grandson, Mr. Damarkus Jones of Brooklyn, New York; his brother, Mr. Lawrence James of Brooklyn, New York; his sisters, Mrs. Queenie Skinner of Goldsboro, North Carolina and Ms. Rose Brown of Goldsboro, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, relatives and friends.
