Mr. Bernard Edwin Parks, Age 63, of Kinston, North Carolina passed on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his resident in Kinston, North Carolina.

He was lovingly known by his family members and friends as “Bryant”.

 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.   Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”  (Psalm 121:1-4)  

A Public Visitation will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551.    

Also, A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551.  Dr. Harold O. Warren will officiate.

Interment or Burial will be held following the Celebration of Life Service in Jerusalem Church Cemetery, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, North Carolina 28578.
