MSgt Ernest Doughty, USAF, (Ret.), Age 68, of Hopewell, Virginia passed on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Richmond VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

A Public Visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., in St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, Inc., 306 West King Street, La Grange, North Carolina, 28551.

Also, A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church, Inc., 306 West King Street, La Grange, North Carolina, 28551.  Pastor Edwrin V. Sutton, will officiate.

VA - Appointment Date and Time for Burial:  Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM

Interment or Burial will be held, Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, North Carolina 27534.
