Mrs. Carolyn Louise Brown

Mrs. Carolyn Louise Brown, age 64, of 2526 NC 903 Hwy-North, La Grange, North Carolina passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Lenoir UNC Health Care Center in Kinston, North Carolina, and surrounded by her family.

Carolyn was born in Fayette County, West Virginia, on October 7, 1953 to the late Mr. Reuben Brown and Mrs. Dorthula Stevens-Brown.

Also, Carolyn was educated in the public school system of Fayette County, West Virginia.

Mother Brown was a loving, dedicated and faithful daughter, sister, mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 7065 Okey L. Patterson Road, and in the state of West Virginia. Rev. Charles Brown will officiate.

Mother Brown leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories to her three children, Phillip Brown and wife, Angela of Beckley, West Virginia, Makeba Brown of La Grange, North Carolina and Reeshemah Brown of Fayetteville, West Virginia; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Scott, Edith Revere, Patricia Thomas, Rose Traynham and Sharon Stevens; two brothers, Charles Brown and John Traynham; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
