Mr. Robert Earl Abrom, Jr.

Mr. Robert Earl Abrom, Jr., age 47, lovingly known by his family members and friends as “Abe” of 104 Horace Street, La Grange, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence.

Robert was born in Lenoir County, North Carolina on May 18, 1970 to the late Mr. Robert Earl Abrom, Sr. and Mrs. Annie Wooten-Abrom.

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 209 South Carey Street, La Grange, North Carolina.  Rev. Dr. Michael A. Johnson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the La Grange Memorial Cemetery, 295 West James Street, La Grange, North Carolina.

Also, a public viewing will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Abe leaves a legacy of love to his daughter, Crystal S. Abrom of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Kenneth E. Abrom of Alexandria, VA and Jerry Abrom of LaGrange, NC; two nephews, Darius Abrom and Devin Abrom of Alexandria, VA; two aunts, Elleen Abrom White of Trenton, NC and Carrie Abrom of Kinston, NC; special friends, Deacon Derrick and Tyjuana Atkinson of Goldsboro, NC, Dennis and Darlene Williams of Wilson, NC and Carnell Mewborn of LaGrange, NC. Additionally, Abe leaves behind a host of cousins and close friends who love him dearly and will miss him immensely.
