Mr. Max Lee Fisher

Mr. Max Lee Fisher, formerly of La Grange, North Carolina, age 61and lovingly known by his family members and friends as “Max” passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the NMS Healthcare Center in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Max was born in Lenoir County, North Carolina on June 14, 1956 to the late Mr. Bruce Garner and Mrs. Maebertha Ford.

He was educated in the Lenoir County public school system.

During Mr. Max working years, he served as a machine Operator and retired form Apac Construction Company.

Max was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Bruce Garner; his mother, Mrs. Maebertha Ford; and his sister, Ms. Consadina Garner

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina.   Dr. Edna Hall will officiate.

Interment will follow in the La Grange Memorial Cemetery, 295 West James Street, La Grange, North Carolina.

Also, a public viewing will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Fisher leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories to his wife, Teresa Rouse Fisher; his two daughters, Michelle Mc Lamb and Melissa Mc Lamb; his two grandchildren, Isaiah Hall and Maziah Jones; his great grandchild, Kaiden Randolph; his five sisters, Karen Miller, Kathleen Miller, Sharon Garner, Nancy White all of Kinston, NC and Edith Blount and husband, Marion of Seven Springs, NC; his three brothers, Travis Fisher and wife, Andra, Bruce Garner, Jr. all of Kinston, NC and Nino Ford and wife, Veronica of La Grange, NC; his two aunts, Elizabeth Dawson and Shirley Fisher both of La Grange, North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, the family members and friends will assemble at the residence of Mrs. Teresa Fisher of 144 Beston Drive, La Grange, North Carolina at 9:45 a.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
