Hello! Last night my mom; who is in her 80's, shared the story of how Bishop Loftin escorted her out of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, to the parking lot and into her car after visiting with a brother who was dying some years ago. She expressed her appreciation and kindness for his concern and care. He did not know her, and she did not know him. She was a senior citizen, making her way. What we do is just as important as what we say. On that particular day, he spoke volumes. Suffice it to say, he was "the light of the world, and the salt of the earth [Matthew 5:13-16]!" God bless 'ya! Shalom!
